The road section runs through the Zelenodolsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan, connecting the capital of the Republic, Kazan, with the western regions of Tatarstan and providing access to both the Republic itself and the eastern regions of Russia, including the Republic of Mari El and the Chuvash Republic, as well as access to the center of Russia.
The road section is used for significant transportation of goods and passengers in both local and interregional routes.
Geospan OR geogrid was used in the construction of the km 115 transport interchange, and Geospan ORP was used to strengthen the slopes.
