Construction of Tver bypass 148th km to 209th km section (Stage 3) of M-11 Moscow – Saint Petersburg expressway

Counter-deformation measures for poor-soil and swamp-based subgrade were jointly developed by Soyuzdorproject OAO and Gexa. The project design documentation (Volume 3.1.14 enclosed) includes:

  • reinforced and non-reinforced embankment stability calculations;
  • subgrade settlement and compressed width value calculations;
  • requirements to geosynthetics performance;
  • technical and economic assessment of embankment reinforcement versions;
  • tabled results of subgrade calculations and counter-deformation measures by section.

800,000 m2 of Geospan GT PP 80 woven polypropylene geotextile was laid by contractor Dorogi I Mosty AO during 2022 to 2023. Avtodor’s technical department pointed out a high quality of the geofabrics supplied to the project.
