Conventional playgrounds. These are classical playgrounds located in cities’ parks and children’s areas that may include swings, bunny slopes, merry-go-rounds and sand-pits.

Adventure playgrounds. Such playgrounds are centered around a certain subject or concept, such as space, jungles, farm or castle. They normally have the relevant play elements, decoration or even cosplayers so that children may live into the subject.

  • Safety. Geosynthetics provide an even and rubbery surface lowering the risk of children’s injury when they fall.

Geotextiles are used in arrangement of a reinforcing layer under a playground surface to soften a fall impact. Geospan BB thermally bonded geotextile may be such a layer due to its high strength and filtering properties. A maximal possible number of bonding points in the yarn brings about an ultrathin material that is not susceptible to deformation and clogging of filtering pores. 

Geomembranes are used for waterproofing and maintaining the base strength. Geospan GT PP M  geosynthetic material with membrane properties, that consists of two layers of laminated woven geotextile, is an effective solution to secure waterproofing in playground construction.

Woven geotextiles are used for base reinforcement enhancing its strength and stability. Geospan GT PP woven geotextile will be effective to achieve these tasks. It can extend the playground service life, increase the surface resistance to dynamic and static loads, exclude the risk of soil uneven settlement and frost heaving due to low temperatures. Besides, Geospan GT PP is resistant to influence of water, fungi, rodents, insects, plant roots, vibration, temperature drops and other external impacts.
