Effectiveness and Application
Geospan GT PP geotextile is produced by weaving equipment from strong polypropylene fibers based on primary raw materials of high quality. Thanks to the well elaborated production process and the quality of raw materials, the fabrics possess high strength and low elongation to allow their use as separating and armoring layers to increase the bearing capacity of motorways, embankments and other structures.
Geospan GT PP use allows:
- lower overall thickness of the road pavement structure;
- higher resistance to traffic loads and rutting;
- lower consolidation time and embankment settlement;
- construction under conditions of weak soils, marshes of any type and permafrost.
Geospan GT PP applications:
- reinforcement of motorway, railroad and airport embankments;
- subgrade reinforcement for construction purposes;
- subgrade stabilization for construction of retaining walls;
- enhancing of the road pavement bearing capacity and external impact stabilization.
