
Effectiveness and Application
Geospan PET is a strong woven geotextile of polyester fibers. The material has high tensile strength and low creep. It withstands high tensile loads at insignificant tensile strain.
Geospan PET use allows:
- less prep and excavation work;
- stable structuring on weak foundations;
- prevention of industrial material erosion;
- less consolidation time and less embankment foundation settlement.
Geospan PET applications:
- reinforcement of high embankments;
- construction of weak-based embankments with local soil used;
- construction of unusual-slope embankments in constrained environment.
